Highlights 11/27:

The big congratulations this week go to bill. Bill
installed Sun OS 4.1 over the holidays, and it is pretty
much up and working already (well, with a few glitches in
the modems and uucp :-) This means we'll soon be able to
try turning inlines on, and find out if we get the big
performance improvement  we've been hoping for.

Congratulations also go to ravi, who has all the xpp tests
running successfully under MS-DOS, using the Intek
compiler.

Meetings: Roland, markm, generating blast lists for
documentation. Dean, markm, chris, translator generate
deferred directive. Chris, markm, documentation walk
through. Roland, hugh, formic on Mac. Markm, et al, should
class methods be translated to static member functions,
and consider the convert mechanism. Roger, marcs, trn
news. Markm, dean, definition of "safe". Dean, marcs, gnu
C++ 3.0. Dean, michael, who generates persistent hash?
