Highlights 7/24:

The big congratulations this week go to markm, rick, roger, and 
ravi. Markm has permission properties updating when club members 
change in smalltalk, though it does not quite compile yet in 
c++. Rick has basic graphics running in Montage. And both ravi 
and roger got scroll bars working with Tapestry passage windows 
in different environments. 

Actually, everyone assures me that roger and ravi's getting scroll 
bars to work is not all that big a deal. But every time we've 
gotten close to scroll bars in the past, something has forced 
us to back off. To me, seeing  scroll bars with a passage is 
similar to watching the Dow break 3000 :-)

Congratulations also go to bill. Bill developed a novel innovative 
technique, never before seen at Xanadu, for solving a communications 
problem that was being wrestled with by a rather large crowd 
of Xanadians: rather than try to collapse three cases into one, 
he simply solved all three cases individually. Bill has named 
this new methodology  the "brute force" approach :-)
