g++

We are investigating g++ on a very low effort level, now that the
library issues are cleared up (no problem, just use stanfords libraries or none at all).

The short report is that with default settings g++ won't compile our code.
After letting it try for 8 hours, whein I woke up it had accumulated 2.7M
of error messages & warnings.  The documentations shows a few gacchas
and a finer reading may make some of those go away.

The included message clears up one.
