Weekly Planning Meeting, 10/24

Highlights 10/24:

The big congratulations this past week go to roland, for having 
xlint working with 2.0. Congratulations also go to markm and 
ravi, for fixing backfollow (which, as I mentioned last week, 
was badly broken and urgently needed).

Unfortunately, we have another critical bug to repair: there's 
something wrong in FEBE preventing successful frontend/backend 
communication. Obviously, we can't get anything useful working 
without this working. So condolences go to markm and hugh and 
ravi and hill, and any others who will have to fix it.

There are a couple of quake-related condolences. Condolences 
to bob, who I guess had some serious digging out to do at home. 
Condolences to michael, who had serious digging out to do at 
the office (miraculously, though, 600MB of spinning hard disks 
survived being thrown to the floor along with the ceiling-high 
shelf upon which they sat). And condolences again go to markm, 
who got to have a couple days of enforced vacation in Berkeley, 
since that's where he was when the quake arrived (he had been 
on the Bridge an hour and a half before it collapsed).
