Planning Meeting, 6/27

As I prepared today for the July 4 Planning Meeting, I discovered that I
forgot to mail out the results of last week's planning meeting. So
here it is; my apologies to everyone. The 7/4 planning meeting
summary will be out in a couple of days.
Highlights:
The big congratulations this week go to roland and bill. Congratulations
to roland aren't for a particular milestone this time; rather,
it's a congratulation on how well stubble is working. Everyone
is finding that they can stubblify new objects quickly and painlessly,
even if stubble wasn't designed specifically for the job. Congratulations
to bill are for the best backup system I have ever encountered
on a project; the Xanadu backup system is now operational even
if it isn't fully checked out. The system not only does daily
automatic incremental backups, and not only does whole system
backups, but it also keeps day-old versions of files on-line,
so that if someone mangles the current version by accident, they
can get a recent version without even bothering the system administrator.
Congratulations also go to hill and hugh, who worked with roland
on stubble.
Meetings: Marcs, michael need to discuss the PERT. Marcs and
Roland need to discuss the PERT. Dean, Markm, michael, and hill
need to discuss fluid variables. Markm, talk with robin about
backfollow of endorsed objects of specified type. Hugh, roger
need to discuss common code. Roland, michael need to discuss
fester crashes.
Roland, remember that xlint should complain if there is no virtual
destructor in every proxy section.
