SEPARATE DIMENSION LIST FOR EACH WINDOW.
 That way the user doesn't have to flip through a lot of
 superfluous dimensions while fuddling on a specific task.

And user can have any number of windows with
 different-colored cursors (and backgrounds!).

(This of course implies 
2.  A window List, similar to the dimension list,
 which the user can edit and assign cursor-colors/backgrounds to.
)
