Weekly Planning Meeting, 11/13

Highlights 11/13:

The big congratulations this week go to hugh, ravi, and hill.
Mr. hill has the server accepting multiple connections across
a LANJ(though, uh, it still isn't quite robust enough for rick
and the Montage team :-). Ravi has networking running under MS-DOS
so we can hook to the server (though there's still a long, long
way to go to having an MS-DOS application networked to the server
:-)

And hugh has a minimal functional linkend window working for
Tapestry. In this window, we maintain a list of link ends, which
the user can mix and match into links as he sees fit.Though this
is a simple and intuitive concept that does not need any of the
special features of the Xanadu Server for support, it is nonetheless
easier and faster for making multiple links than any method supplied
by any currently marketed hypertext system.

Even in the little things, we leap ahead of the state of the
art :-)

Congratulations also go to markm and michael. Michael has the
snarf handling code back up to, uh, where it was before the recent
redesign :-) And Markm has started documenting for real. He had
1% of the classes and methods already documented by the time
of the meeting, and he'd only been at it for a few hours :-)

Meetings: Ravi, michael, transceivers, strings. Roland, chris,
methods without message sends. Hill, chris, markm, packObits
ordering. Michael, roland, a const test. Dean, michael, where
to ask for hash value. Roger, forward const note from news to
markm. markm, dean, hugh, italics in smalltalk. Markm, marcs,
adjust rates for documentation victory bells. Roger, dean, hugh,
ravi, fm update events. Joel, mlb, incorporation of factories
in developer pack, for Key Logic negotiation. Dean, michael,
remaining divergence in snarfs. Bill, marcs, discuss 4.1 upgrade.
Markm, michael, et. al, hiding virtuals. Hugh, michael, bugs
in sets. Roger, markm, backup vlad. Roland, michael, the return
of a const parameter in C. Roger, ravi, where font info lies.
